Born on March 9, 1860 in Blue Earth City, Minnesota Married in 1885 to Fanny Kamrar; three sons - Henry, Kenneth & Milden Resided at 960 15th Ave SE in the Como neighborhood (found at this location in the 1909, 1922 and 1936 city directories). This home was referred to as the Way mansion and is no longer existing. Built for the manufacturer Way, who was a Como neighborhood pioneer, this house may have been the largest home constructed in the Como community, and also notable for its third floor ballroom. Later in the 1930s the house served as a University of Minnesota Jewish men’s student fraternity, before being demolished in 1963 for the construction of the University Church of Christ (now Southeast Christian Church). The 1909 directory lists 3 businesses for him: pres Mpls Bedding Co, Mpls Brick & Tile Co, and Ozonet Chemical Co. The 1886 directory lists him at 1026 15th Ave SE. 1903 ad for "Ozonet: A disinfectant, an embalming fluid.
