WWII Navy Veteran and Como resident died in August of 2005. He liked to say that he only lived in 2 places (both in the Como neighborhood) he was born and raised on 12th Ave SE and then lived at 25th & Como Aves SE.

In 2003, he brought in photos and shared stories of his time in the Como neighborhood. He was also featured in a May 2001 Comotion newsletter for the more than 16,000 lifetime bicycle miles that he'd ridden so far.
