(b. circa 1872 - d. 1918) Mae Snow was a teacher and principal at Columbus School. She served as the principal during the 1908-09 school year. She gained some fame and notariety at the time by challenging the school board and then serving as the first woman on the school board (see press here). She didn't live in the Como neighborhood. In 1909 she was boarding at 4314 Blaisdell Ave. in south Minneapolis. She ran for Minneapolis School Director in 1910 and 1912 and was elected both times. Go here to see the vote tallies.
